Q: What size CO2 cartridge do the Umarex
pistols require?
A: A standard 12g CO2 cartridge is required for operation
of these pistols.
Q: I notice that a lot of your pistols mention the terms single
and double action, What does this mean?
A: For many pistols, you can fire using either single or double
action this is described as Follows:
Double action shooting means that, when you pull the trigger, the
pistol will be
automatically
cocked and produce a shot.
Single
action shooting means that the pistol must be cocked manually before shooting. Then, pull the trigger.
Q: What do I do if my pistol fails to discharge a pellet
after proper loading?
A: This could be the result of a feed jam. Please do the
following:
- Put the Safety on
- Open the slide and remove the pellet cylinder.
- Check that each pellet is properly inserted in the cylinder
- Check the barrel with the cleaning rod to insure that no pellet
is lodged in the barrel
- Close and lock the slide without replacing the pellet cylinder.
- Aim in a safe direction, turn the safety off and shoot the pistol
to test the CO2 pressure.
- In no CO2 pressure is evident, change the CO2 cartridge.
Q: What should I do to maintain my pistol?
A: The following steps should maintain your pistol
- Clean the surface of your pistol with a soft cloth and gun oil.
- To insure continued proper function, place 2-3 drops of gun
oil on the cartridge lock, slide rails and grip lock button after
every 250 shots
- perfect long-lasting operation is guaranteed from you gun if
it is cleaned at regular intervals with cleaning pellets.
Q: My Pistol is not shooting efficiently, what is the possible
problem?
A: Possible reasons of poor shooting efficiency are as follows:
- CO2 Cartridge is empty
- Barrel is dirty
- Extreme temperatures
- Incorrect pellets
- Pellets inserted into the cylinder incorrectly

A: Never attempt to repair this pistol if it needs service. Incorrect
