It’s world class! This unique Tech Force 99 Premier air rifle has the power and accuracy to compete with some of the most respected air guns in the world, yet its modest price makes it a perfect choice for virtually all shooters, competitors, small game hunters and backyard plinkers. The performance of the Model 99 is truly amazing, because it\'s capable of achieving muzzle velocities of 1100 fps and muzzle energy of 18.5 FP. It packs a real punch, even at long range. I have a TF 99 in both .177 and .22 caliber. For the price it is hard to beat for accuracy! It is a really easy gun to shoot with both open sights and with a scope. With a scope you can put pellets in the same hole on a consistent basis. I love both of mine! The only thing that takes some time getting used to is that is smokes due to the leather seals. That will go away with time.

I have had this gun for about a month now and I'm very impressed with it. It's very well made- metal, wood and a few pieces of plastic. It shots good and I'm able to make dime size hole in paper targets at 20-30 yards ( freehand ). It come shipped with a light oil coat on it but not so bad that you have to do a complete rebuild on it before you can even shoot it. I have already put several hundred rounds of pellets in this gun to reach the break in mark so that I can do a real cleaning and chrono of this air rifle but for now it does not seem to have lost any power. In all this is a good gun and it's has already recieved a name :) . Thanks Compasseco for your business.

I purchased this rifle several months ago and have been pleased with the performance. When new this gun shot very hard and began to slow with time. I have approx. 2000-2500 pellets through it and now is shooting 525 fps through the chrony. However, I disassembled cleaned lubed and now is back up to speed. The piston screw was loose and began to back off by 3-4 turns. I re-loctited the threads and reassembled. Also, the power spring was beginning to bend which is typical of dieseling springers which is very hard on the springs and causes failure. One interesting thing is this gun continued to \"diesel\" and the barrel smoked until about 1500 pellets at which the gun started slowing down. After the relube I noticed this gun shooting 980-960 fps! (.22 cal). I suspect the leather seal absorbs the lube and burns this lube to help push the pellet (dieseling). I have approx 100 pellets through since the relube and it continues to shoot at 940-965! fps. I am sure it will slow when the seal begins to dry. Open sights, this gun is very accurate; with a scope it it very deadly. I can shoot accurately with the scope out to 75-85 yards no problem. For the price it is a very good gun. Please do not expect the high quality of metal parts like you would expect from a German or British made gun. However, for the price it is a good rifle.

when i first found out about this gun i was worried about quality.i went ahead and orderd one ,and i have been very impressed with it from the time i took it out of the box.the staff at compasseco were very helpful, and nice to deal with.my gun is very accurate and smooth.it consistently groups rws super domes in a quarter sized target at 40 yards. it is not as powerful as my walther, but it is easier to shoot freehand.thats the shoot your going to be takeing while hunting anyway.these guns seem to be everything compasseco says they are

Just got this rifle today (12-5-08). Shot at a piece if laminate flooring with felt backing at about 10 yards. It blew a perfect hole on impact side. The back side had a 1 in. gouge do to a hollow point pellet. Noise level is less then my Beeman R1 rifle, but just as heavy. Cocking effort is slightly less them the break-barrel Beeman. I also installed a 3x9x40 scope and can't wait to test it out on the range. This rifle is worth every penny I paid for it.

I was getting inconsistent grouping with my .22 cal TF99, so I stripped/cleaned/tuned/lubed it and recrowned the barrel. Now it\'s very consistent with a very easy cocking effort for it\'s power level, and a smooth trigger. I really like the look and feel of the stock. I think mine needs a new piston seal, although a very few drops of Glovolium will bring dry/hard leather seals back to life, and put a stop to the dieseling. Someday I\'ll get around to putting a scope on it. Mine was running around 800-850 fps out of the box. It hits hard.

Excellent air rifle! Bought the .22 and am very satisfied. Wood stock is beautiful and checkering is well done. Only minus: open sights are not up to the quality of the rest of the rifle. Fix: install scope. Big plus: Powerful, goes through three 3/4" sheets of drywall I was using as a backstop for another air rifle. Overall, I highly recommend the TF99.

when i first got my gun i was disappointed with its accuracy its open sight could completely conceal a target. when i mounted a scope on it i enjoyed it much more a scope is essential to fully appreciate this rife.

I received a Tech Force 99 Premier Friday in exchange for the same air gun that was with a "few flaws". I cleaned and fired this new air gun over the weekend and now would like to let you know how pleased I am. Both the timely exchange time of less than a few weeks and an air gun that looks and handles nicely!! Good job!! I’m sure I’ll be purchasing more items from you in the near future.
