Beware customer service. I returned my new TF78GS that arrived with a very bent barrel for warranty exchange, following all warranty requirements explicitly (RMA number, time period, etc.). Months later, after many, many inquiries, and many, many excuses that "my" rifle was being repaired and would be sent right out, Compasseco instead replaced my new TF78GS with a very used QB78D (same model, but obviously a completly different gun as it lacked the TF branding). The QB78D barrel had a deep notch carved out of it a couple inches from the muzzle. Looks like someone started a very messy job of cutting the barrel shorter and changed their mind just before hitting the bore. It is an ugly mess, but I give up dealing with this company. More hassle than its worth to even bother trying, or buying, from this outfit again. The very used QB78D will probably go in the trash, and I'll get a new one from someone reputable.

Nice trigger and stock. Good appearance overall. Holds a decent group. Only 3 stars because it took almost all the windage adjustment on the upgrade sights to zero the barrel. Fortunately the sights have a LOT of windage adjustment - I suspect a bent barrel. I'm not too happy with the rear notch hanging off the side, and expected better.

Not really a review of the gun itself, but ive owned many of these deluxe QB's before, and they're all good shooters. the trigger is much better than the standard QB. definately worth the money! the stock is also much better, and fits a bit better than the standard QB. Great starter gun to get! I also wanted to comment on Compasseco's service! It is top notch! Service was quick, and very friendly!

I bought this one in .177 for my son and it\'s very accurate and very fun to shoot. I polished the stock with plastic polish and now it looks better than air guns costing over 5 times as much. The trigger is very nice and easy to adjust. My son likes it, too.

I received my Tech Force 78 Gold Series in 5.5 mm Cal. in time for Father's Day. It was an exact copy of my old Crosman Model 160 in the same caliber I use to hunt and plink with during my youth. Its excellent fire sights and superb woodwork fitting and finish of the gun stock, not to mention its superb accuracy within its parameters, your company did an excellent job in improving this CO2 powered air rifle. It brings back lots of fond memories of my yester years. Thank you for a high quality product that I will treasure and be proud to own throughout the years and the happy memories it brings back and will add to my life.

beauty accuracy Thats what this rifle is all about. I topped mine with a BSA classic 4x32mm scope. perfect for vermin birds pest and plinking. I use mine with an old CO2 cartrage for a spacer, and then a fresh one for power. that yields a blissfull afternoon of hunting or plinking, for this rifle is truly a joy to shoot!!!

I purchased a gun for my dad every couple of years for his birthday. He bought the Tech Force 78 Gold series scope combo in November. It is by far the best I have ever given to him, according to him. Last weekend he took it out looking for rabbits and got two on his first shots. Thank you, Compasseco for such a great gun. I will be back. The customer service was by far the best I have dealt with yet.

I purchased this item as a Fathers Day present for my father who still has an original Crossman 78. This rifle preforms every bit as well as the original, with some nice improvements. After sighting the rifle at 15 yards I was able to put 7 pellets through one large hole. My father was so pleased with the rifle that he spent an entire day with it at the range.
