Tech Force 89 Contender Series- Air Gun Review

Compasseco's TechForce® Contender 89 Break Barrel Rifle, 22 Caliber and 3x12x40 AO Scope
By Rick Eutsler
In the world of mediocre air guns it is a real joy to get my hands on a really excellent product. From the first shot, I knew this rifle had a lot to offer. But before I get into the review, let me say a quick word about Compasseco, the exclusive distributors of the TechForce® Contender series. Compasseco has invested a lot of time and money in producing high quality yet cost conscience air guns. Yes their TechForce® line of guns are made in China, but under stringent quality control and continued high expectations from Compasseco and their customers. If it has the TechForce® name on it, it will be a high quality gun. Compasseco has worked very hard to make this a reality and we have all benefited from their efforts whether we realize it or not. By them requiring better quality products, those factories are producing higher quality products overall. What's more important is Compasseco's dedication to their customers. They work to make sure you are satisfied with their products. Lastly, I want to personally thank Compasseco for their help in getting www.airgunweb.com off the ground. They were the first vendor to agree to send us products to review and I'm thrilled to finally put their Contender 89 through the paces!

The Tech Force 97 - Compasseco's flagship spring air rifle gets a workout.
By Tom Gaylord

Compasseco has made a name for itself selling Tech Force airguns, but it has also made an impact in the quality of those guns throughout the American market over the years. No where is that quality more noticeable than in the Tech Force 97 underlever spring air rifle.

Compasseco's Tech Force SS2
By Jay Axelrod

Compasseco's Tech Force SS2 is a copy of the famous Feinwerkbau 65 pistol which is a springer. Feinwerkbau, one of the world leaders in air pistols, knocked the industry on its back years ago when they introduced the FWB 65 pistol and the FWB 300 rifle.

Xisico (BAM) B26 .22 Break Barrel Rifle with 3x9x40 AO Scope
By Rick Eutsler
This article stems from a request from the folks over at www.AirgunDepot.com. They asked me to take a look at 8 different Xisico air guns and report on their overall quality, accuracy, and reliability. The Xisico article can be read in full here: Xisico Air Guns - General Review. What I found is that, like every other manufacturer, Xisico has several "layers" of products all in different price categories. Their inexpensive products are just that, inexpensive products. But when you reach the B26 on the way up the price scale, things change immediately.

BAM XS-B3
By Rick Eutsler
Today we take some time to look at the "little rifle that could." These are the types of finds that I really enjoy coming across. BAM, or Xisico USA, as you may find it on-line, has several unique little rifles. I've had the chance to take a look as several of their "niche" rifles over the last couple of weeks and the B3 stands WAY out above the rest. At an average retail price of only about $55 to $65, you get a very accurate and neat shooting rifle.
