A: Parallax is a condition that exists
when the focus for the target and the focus for the

do occur in the same place. It is detected by moving your eye left to right
and
up and down while looking through the scope. It the target
seems to move in relation
to the reticle , this is gparallaxh.
This condition is most noticeable at magnifications
over 10x. A fuzzy or out of focus image is not parallax. It
simply means that your
scope is out of focus. All BSA Riflescopes have eyepiece focus,
for clear focusing on
the reticle , and many have distance
focus for focusing on the target. Riflescopes
which do not have the distance focus are preset to be parallax-free
at 100 yards. Pistol
scopes at 50 yards, shotgun and black powder scopes at 75 yards.
