I have an older Benjamin/Franklin .22 caliber pneumatic pellet rifle, which is one fine piece of equipment, being well made, very accurate and totally reliable. After firing many thousands of pellets through it, it's seals are still in top condition, retaining full power. With it I've quickly dispatched Rats, Squirrels, Rabbits, Crows, Snakes, etc., most within about 40 yards, using the open sights. Due to the caliber of it's projectile, combined with good velocity, it strikes hard when it hits a target. Since it's an excellent value for the money, I'd recommend getting one while they are still available. I would never part with mine.
